Accomplishments of the Spring 2008 Staff
Edited, designed, printed the second BMB chapbook, Simple Universal by Jeffrey Allen, a collection of narrative poetry. Worked with Tippit Press for letter press printing for the cover and color prints for the special edition.
Continued development of content and photographs for the Vespers photo history book, working with the Staley Library archive librarian, Todd Rugat. Established Dr. Timothy Kovolcik as the lead author for the book.
Completed editorial team selection of haiku for the Millikin University Haiku Anthology. Completed permission letters with authors and initial layout and editing of the book. Received bids from several printing companies. Promoted the forthcoming publication at the April poetry reading at the Decatur Area Arts Council.
Continued development of the Ray George exhibit and exhibition catalog.
Finished plans for the Midwest Artists Exhibition at the Decatur Area Arts Council, including an exhibition pamphlet on the artists in the collection.
